Noor Muhammad alias Baba Ladla, a notorious gangster, however, managed to escape with his companions by breaking through the rangers’ barricade.
Rangers surrounded and conducted the operation in Mauripur, Naya Abad, Aath Chowk, Sangoleen, Mawacha Goth and other areas and claimed arresting 54 gang war suspects as well as recovering Kalashnikovs, 12-mm pistols, grenades, 5kg explosive material, 27kg hashish and 3,000 bottles of liquor.
Meanwhile, residents of Lyari protested against the operation by staging demonstrations at the Northern Bypass and Hub River Road.
They said that the operation was unjust, adding that rangers had arrested innocent people.

Arresting these goons is one thing, but actually charging them and prosecuting them is another matter ! Don't worry their masters will be on phone soon and no doubt they will all be released ! Such is the state of this Nation's Law & Order, let alone its Judiciary too !
@Hassan Brother help brothers & gangster help gangsters
I wonder why lyari resident protest in support of gangsters?
Why Lyari residents do not takes such elements out by themselves? Why they give refuge to gangsters? Why they don't report to police? Why they have to wait for rangers operation?
@Supressed, Opressed, Depressed: Also launch an operation in Orangi Town, Korangi, Liaqatabad and Lines Area, and catch all the target killers hidden inside that areas.
Why are they innocent if they got soe much stuff off them?
Operation cleanup is necessary for Lyari Area, for those who triggered innocent peoples.
Good work! burn all the drugs and drain all the liquor. Its for the betterment of the residents of Lyari.
