HARIPUR: A newlywed couple was deprived of cash and valuables in Moonan village on Saturday. Police quoted Jabar Khan as saying that he had gone with his wife to visit his in-laws for Eid. Upon return, he found the main door of his house broken open and jewellery weighing 12 toals and Rs50,000 cash stolen. He said that neighbours saw unidentified people enter the house last night but did not call the police or stop them. Police registered a case and started investigation.
