A Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sunil A Lulla production under the direction of Bela Sehgal, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi explores life and love after 40.
Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan marks her debut as an actor in this romantic comedy. Farah embraced the character of Shirin such that her dialogue delivery and performance appeared quite natural at times. The blunt, effervescent Parsi ‘girl’, Farah’s acting seemed quite effortless.
Boman in his shy, honest and somewhat silly Farhad persona entertained the audience through and through. Boman, with the particular mannerism of a nervously shy man trying to woo his lady love, is sure to send movie watchers in fits of laughter.
Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi will play in major Pakistani cinemas from August 25.
