KARACHI: A court sent a second round of notices to the Hajj director and secretary of the religious affairs ministry  to explain why they had refused to register 17 group operators.

As-Salam Travels and 16 other Hajj group organisers have gone to court as they were not registered and were denied quotas even though they had applied in time.

They have repeatedly asked for explanations on their own but the authorities have not responded.  The court’s previous notices also went ignored.
