Bandits snatch Rs1.2m from petrol pump manager

The bandits shot Chandio dead and snatched Rs1.2million in cash and then fled.

Bandits looted Rs1.2 million from the manager of a petrol pump and killed his security guard in Kandiyaro town as the two were on their way to a bank on Thursday.


The manager, Mushtaq Ahmed Rajpar, and Muneeer Chandio were intercepted by four men on two motorcycles at Hospital Road, Kandiyaro, as the two were going to deposit cash at the bank. The bandits shot Chandio dead and snatched Rs1.2million in cash and then fled.

Residents of the area later protested against the incident and blocked the road. However, police reached the spot and managed to clear the road.
