Cylinder blast: Five injured in explosion

Five people were injured when a cylinder exploded on Charsadda Road.

PESHAWAR: Five people were injured when a cylinder exploded on Charsadda Road. The cylinder was in a Suzuki van bearing number BA-2884, which burst while gas was being filled. Police said it reached the area soon after the incident. The vehicle was destroyed in the blast. The injured were identified as Kheru Zaman, Izat Khan, Bacha Zari, Fazilat Bibi, Aafaq and Shumaila. They were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital where their condition was said to be stable.  All of the injured are residents of Oacha Wala, Shabqader.
