KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain and the party’s Coordination Committee have condemned the killing of Saifuddin, a member of Unit 117 of the Baldia Town Sector who was shot dead. They expressed condolences with his family. In a statement issued by the party, the Coordination Committee noted that, “The recent spate of violence and bloodshed in the city was a matter of grave concern for the citizens” and that “terrorists were pursuing their nefarious designs to create a state of instability in the city.” It has asked President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and the Sindh governor and chief minister to take notice of the attack and arrest those responsible.
