From prison to prison: Security concerns spark shifting

KARACHI: More prisoners will be moved around from Karachi Central Jail to others across Sindh before Eid amid security concerns. A meeting was held on Wednesday at Chief Minister House to review the security of the Karachi Central Jail. Referring to the reports of intelligence agencies, officials said that there were security threats to the Karachi and Hyderabad Central Jails. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah was informed that some prisoners have already been shifted from Karachi Central Jail while others will be moved before Eidul Fitr.
