In cold blood: Policeman gunned down in Garden

Police claimed that Niazi worked with CID, was on his motorcycle when unidentified men opened fire at him.

KARACHI: A police constable identified as Nasir Khan Niazi, 40, was killed in Garden on Thursday. The police claimed that Niazi worked with the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and was on his motorcycle when unidentified men opened fire at him near Eidgah Masjid. The constable used to report to the DIG and was not linked to the Lyari operation. Niazi leaves behind seven children and a widow.
