Aiding stability: Mohmand PA awards peace efforts

Awarded 225 officials, journalists and notable elders for playing active roles in the restoration of peace.

PESHAWAR: The Political Administration (PA) of Mohmand Agency awarded 225 tribal maliks, officials, journalists and notable elders for playing active roles in the restoration of peace in the agency. Political Agent Adil Siddique and Mohammad Azeem from the Pakistan Army handed awards and headed recipients with traditional turbans. During the ceremony school children sang the national anthem.  The tribal elders also addressed the function and shed light on their struggles and achievements regarding bringing peace and harmony in the region.
