Old feud: ANP activist, passerby gunned down

A pedestrian also came in the line of fire and was injured severally.

NOWSHERA: Two persons were gunned down over old enmity in the Risalpur area of Nowshera on Saturday. Risalpur SHO Ishaq Khan said that Amir Bhadhur, an activist of the ruling Awami National Party (ANP) was gunned down by his adversaries on his way home from a local market.  Khan said that the accused, Pir Muhammad, opened fire on Bhadhur, killing him on the spot. A pedestrian identified as Nazakat Khan, a resident of Mera Risalpur, also came in the line of fire and was injured severally. He was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  Khan further added that police raided the house of the accused but he had managed to escape before their arrival.
