ATTOCK:

Three members of a family including a father and a son were killed over a family dispute on Friday.

Zafar Khan lodged a complaint with the Jand police that his relatives Arshad Khan, his son Hamid and his sisters Maroofa Jan and Fazal Jan were asleep when Shadi Khan, Zamurd Khan, Khizer Hayat and Saifullah allegedly barged into their house and opened indiscriminate fire at them.

They were taken to a hospital, where Arshad, Hamid and Maroofa were pronounced dead, while Fazal’s condition was reported to be critical at the time of filing this report.

According to the police, Arshad was a proclaimed offender who was wanted in multiple cases.

He had been at large after committing a double murder with his accomplices on July 5 and the police believe he was killed in revenge.

The police have registered a case against the suspects and started searching for them.
