Eidul Fitr: Government announces 3-day holiday starting August 20

The Federal Government has announced Eidul Fitr holidays from August 20 till 22, Express News reported on Thursday.

Ramazan had begun across Pakistan on July 21.

The moon had been sighted by the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee on July 20.

The dates coincide with the weekend, resulting in a 5-day holiday for Eid.

Salam. Advance eid mubarak to all muslim. Notification of eid vacations is very appreciable and showing vision of government. However, it is also requested that salary of august 2012 will be pay to all employs before eid sothat every one can celebrate eid ul fitar in joy. Thanks
