Successful raid: Balochistan FC recovers illegal arms

Authorities raided a place in Chagai district and recovered 3 SMG rifles, two pistols and over 995 rounds.

QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan officials on Tuesday recovered arms and ammunition along the Pakistan-Iran border, while an FC check post was attacked in Barkhan district. According to FC officials, authorities raided a place in Landi in Chagai district close to the border and recovered 3 SMG rifles, two pistols and over 995 rounds. However, no arrest was made during the raid. Separately, unidentified armed men attacked an FC check post in Dolwai area of Barkhan. However, no loss of life was reported in the attack. The attackers fled when FC officials returned fire.
