NAUDERO:

The local government elections will be held soon with consensus of the coalition partners after an amendment in the new ordinance, said Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro.

He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) respected all institutions of the country and did not plan to clash with any of them. According to the minister, there have been conspiracies against the PPP since it first came into power but that that they would face all challenges with the help of the people. He said that the people of Sindh were with the PPP and that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, should stop exploiting the weaknesses of the people. Addressing Sindhi nationalists, the minister recommended that they remain united as their strength would be divided if they were to support ‘outsiders’.
