Plea: Appeal for intellectual’s treatment

ISLAMABAD: Writers from Pakistan Intellectual Forum have appealed to President Asif Ali Zardari to facilitate the medical treatment of renowned Sindhi author and intellectual Shamsher Haideri. Haideri, who is currently fighting illness, has no means to fund his treatment abroad. Noted author and researcher Dr Khadim Hussain Soomro has said that the writer has produced several works that portray the picture of Sindhi society and the authorities should facilitate his treatment.
