Infrastructure Works: Cabinet approves Rs400m for potable water in Dadu

A grant of Rs400 million will be given to Dadu, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Mehr and Johi taulkas.

Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has told the irrigation department in Dadu to ensure enough water reaches farmers at the end of the supply line within seven days.


He was talking to the media after chairing a meeting of the Sindh Cabinet there on Saturday evening.

A grant of Rs400 million will be given to Dadu, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Mehr and Johi taulkas to set up a water purification plant to provide potable water to residents. About Rs2.5 billion have been spent on development in Dadu this year. The chief minister also said that water, electricity and roads have been provided for the area of Gorakh Hill Station and police check posts will be set up as well.
