FAISALABAD: Commissioner Tahir Hussain took notice on Friday of 500 acres of forest land in Chak 46-GB that has been barren for over 12 years. Presiding over a meeting, Hussain directed that the land be re-planted. He said the Irrigation Department will restore the water allowance for the saplings. The option to handing over the land to the city district government was also discussed in the meeting.
