Charged: Man imprisoned in hashish case

The accused had pleaded guilty before the court.

KARACHI: The Malir district and sessions court awarded a prison sentence of 45 days and a fine of Rs2,000 to a man in a narcotics case. The accused had pleaded guilty before the court. “I willingly and happily accept my crime, please be lenient,” Waseem Abdul Waheed had written in his conviction statement. The police had seized 70 grams of hashish from the accused during a search near Quaidabad. A case (391/12) was registered at the Shah Latif Town police station.
