Two Rangers personnel were gunned down in Karachi’s Orangi Town locality on Tuesday night at a teashop near Bacha Khan Chowk within the limits of Pirabad police station.
Ashfaq Baloch, SHO Pirabad police station, said that at least two armed men walked up to the two Rangers officials in the teashop and opened fire on them, who succumbed to their injuries shortly after the incident.
The assailants managed to escape.
Baloch said that the Rangers, identified as inspector Bahar and sub-inspector Abdullah, were from the intelligence wing of the Rangers and were apparently at the teashop to gather information when the culprits targeted them.
A heavy contingent of Rangers and police reached the crime scene and the entire locality was cordoned off to catch the culprits. Meanwhile, at least three people were injured in a firing incident near Gulistan-e-Jauhar Mor and were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

negotiations, table talks, mufehmat ki siyasat etc etc ... in the end you all will agree one day that we need another Naseer ullah Babar !!!!
Police men who conducted operation during previous PPP and PMLN days were gunned down in Musharaf Era and every one knows who was involved in it. It seems same brute forces are repeating the exercise to attack rangers this time. State apparatus should not bow down before terrorist outfits.
