The situation between syria and myanmar is different.Rohingya issue is much more serious than any other issue, they have been suffering for decades and they are stateless and hepless minority muslims ,the most persecuted in the world according to UN report. The successive Myanmar Government has been violated human rights Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. If you know the real History of Rohingyas , you will surely not compare with other issues.Thousands of Rohingyas have been killed by rakhines and Security Forces and 90000 have been displaced. What I want to say here is that it a systematic ethnic cleansing.
Do Pakistani state institutions and civic society care about killing of Muslims in Pakistan itself? Shias, Ahmedis, Baluch also want some one raises voice highlighting their plight inside the land of pure!
Stop wasting time ! Focus on your own problems at home and issue all the resolutions on that front first, before seeking new pastures !
and i suggest Pakistani should do namaz without looking here and there so they can see how the innocents Pakistani are being killed by the Taliban and Jihadi organizations.
@mr. righty rightist: Wow ... your surely are on the very right side of the world ...Keep on guessing
I guess Pakistanis do Namaz facing east rather than west.
That's why they can easily see Myanmar but not Syria.
Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, Indonesia, or Bnagladesh is not going this politically overboard show of solidarity but Pakistan can’t help itself, can it?
You raise a voice, you provide humanitarian assistance i.e - relocate those affected into you own country.
Any resolutions against Wahabi massacres of Shias in Quetta? Apart from being world-leading passport forgers we are also the world leaders in rank hypocrisy.
Any Senate resolution against the killings of the Shia and Ahmadi population and the human rights violations of women and minorities within Pakistan?
If I would have been a Senator, I would have preferred to lodge protest against the killings of uncounted innocent Muslims who are killed every day in target killings, for extortion of money, suicide/bomb blasts and through US drone attacks in Pakistan.
What do we achieve after lodging protest by moving a resolution in Myanmar? A resolution will be just a piece of paper. Our law enforcement agencies cannot stop the killings on innocent people in Pakistan, what to talk about the killings of Muslims in Myanmar?
Ohhhh !! Have they woken up !! No wait there are still a few thousands left to be slaughtered !!
Syria? Anyone?
This drama is bordering absurd now.
Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, Indonesia, or Bnagladesh is not going this politically overboard show of solidarity but Pakistan can't help itself, can it?
When will Senate move resolution against killings of innocent Pakistanis by Mulla Fazlullah and his kind?
On the other hand, Senator Zahid Khan said that the killings in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Karachi should also be kept in mind while condemning the massacre in Myanmar.......Why no resolution on that???????? Height of hypocracy
