Old enmity: Intelligence Bureau official killed

Khan told the police that the suspects had an old enmity with his brother.

SWABI: An official of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) was gunned down in Maneri Bala village on Saturday. Muhammad Nisar, a Swabi police official, told The Express Tribune that Sub Inspector Maqbool Hussain was on his way home when the accused Khair Muhammad and Faqir Taj attacked and severely injured him. The official further said that Hussain was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital by his brother Naeem Khan. However, doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead. Khan, while filing a case against the accused men, told the police that the suspects had an old enmity with his brother.
