@Programmingdrone:
Comon, I have heard Dacoits have principles :-)
No matter what, the current government in charge since 2008 should be blamed. Electing Zardari and Co was just like electing dacoits.
@Tribal Insafian: Come on man, you and your primitive little 'Tribal' mind set and loyalty and sense of 'Insaf' ---- go on and live your simple backward tribal life and leave us alone, we left that far behind us and moved far ahead of you poor children of fear and anxiety.
@Syed Shah: Beautifully put. If the government want to serve it can but it wants to rule so what else is possible?
To make the fact straight, Loadshedding was the invention of Great General Zia ul Haq in late 70's.
@dr ajmal: Can you not have load shedding/ Power outage for 48 hours? If you have a power outage monday morning and don't get power back till wednesday morning, would that nor be load shedding for 48hrs? Just saying.
Tribal Insafian: @Umar: Wait a minute. Mirza, Jibran, Uza Syed are cooking somthing up to blame Judiciary for this too.
Perhaps their venom stock pile is running low on levels. Otherwise they won't waste an opportunity to spit it out against judiciary and anybody who comes across His Highness, Mr. Zardari.
@ dr ajmal: I second your comment. How can it be more than 24 hours? I don't think the word load shedding is appropriate word to be used here. There is no light, simple as that. You just can't say that there was 23 hours load shedding.
@dr ajmal:
Your right, we should give credit where credit is due; It takes a lot of organizational skills to create such chaos in a country rich with all kinds of natural resources. Well done PPP; keep up the good work, Musharraf only conveyed the threat of taking Pakistan to the stone ages, PPP has delivered.
Just a thought once we are in the stone ages, we could earn revenue through tourism; PIA could be re-branded as the time machine and western tourist could be lured to visit Pakistan for a field trip in the past.
@umar! Read the article again. Its not saying about one whole day. Its talking about daily load shedding and says eg A faces more than 24 hours, B faces more than 20 and C faces more than 48 hours. All three figures mentioned with diffrent places names.
@umar! Sickof nonsense, is trying to defend ppp, got hard work so dnt mind him. Looks like he is sick of everything but the ppp's good governance.
Zardari will be stiing and enjoying..
@dr ajmal:
Did it say more than 24hr a day? it simply means that the load shedding lasted more than one whole day! is it that difficult to grasp?
@et! What do u guys mean by more than 24 hours and more than 24 hours. 24 hours means all the time, then whats more than 24 hours? And more than 48 hours out of what?
@sick of this nonsense:
Which rude comment are you referring to?
@Tribal Insafian: in a public forum you should learn not to use offensive tone. I am surprise ET published your very rude comments to Awans.
@Tribal Insafian:
True, so very true ... It's just that I had to go through the comments list a couple of times to check if one of them had not already placed the blame on the Judiciary. Maybe I am getting impatient.
@Umar: Wait a minute. Mirza, Jibran, Uza Syed are cooking somthing up to blame Judiciary for this too.
@AS: Nuclear energy is fraught with danger and possibly disastrous consequences, as even most industrially and technologically advanced countries, experienced nuclear disasters. including, Japan (The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster March 2011), the United States (The Three Mile Island accident, partial nuclear meltdown, March 1979), and USSR (The Chernobyl disaster(Ukrainian: catastrophic nuclear accident, April 1986.) Instead, we should concentrate on hydroelectric power as we have many rivers and rapids to make electricity inexpensively and without pollution. But the Government lacks the will as it has itself given expensive contracts to independent rental power producers.
Can we find some twisted way to blame this on the activism of the judiciary?
@Awans: ANP & PTI staged demonstrations "Separately" my dear PML-N geek. Looks like the ACs in your Social Media team offices in PBIT building Lahore are not working properly. :P
The answer is to use the nuclear technology we know to build nuclear power plants! nuclear weapons were always a distraction the real knowledge is to use nuclear power to provide people with electricity and energy and other resources.
Democracy is the best revenge!!!
@Ahmad: You sound like before PPP there was no loadshedding problem. Kindly don't blame PPP for every ill in the country. EVERY body is to be blamed for this power shortage from army to pml n to mqm to religious parties.
“Load shedding was implemented to save money. It also saves pollution. “
“Load shedding is what electric utilities do when there is a huge demand for electricity that exceeds the generation available. The alternative is to have a brown-out where the voltage is reduced. “
So, people and the state are saving money, there is no pollution and also there is no other alternative.
There should be a permanent load-shedding in Pakistan!!
Had Mullahs waged jihad against electricity and oil shortages and lack of educational facilities in Pakistan, the country would have progressed beyond any doubt.
Ok now the correction is made. But can somebody elaborate me that PTI is staging demonstration with ANP and according to PTI the PMLN is a status quo party but PTI is simply blind as for them ANP is anti Status Quo party then while ANP is in the government as well ???... Or may be Ethnicity have more importance than ideology in my view for Imran Khan.
Dear PPP leaders: Thank you for pushing us into dark ages.. We really deserve it as we elected you blindly.
Most faithfully, I remain, Your Kummee Voter
Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) staged demonstrations against load shedding....Are they not in government..so against who they are protesting..poor people of Pakistan...Life is getting really tough for all of us..Democracy is the best revenge..
ANP and PPP protesting against load-shedding??? what a joke. Have they not been running the federal government for the last 4 years??? and they are protesting against Wapda??? what a joke.
