Gun violence: Three killed, one injured in mosque

Killing took place over an argument about a cement machine in a mosque in Sabo Khel, Bannu.

BANNU: Three people were killed and one was injured over an argument about a cement machine in a mosque in Sabo Khel, Bannu. An official of Mandana police station in Bannu said that after Iftar, residents gathered in the mosque and began to argue over the use of a machine being installed to repair the mosque. The official said that as the argument escalated, the groups opened fire on each other. Two brothers Anwar Mehsud and Attiqur Rehman, Khattak Sabo Khel residents, were killed. Anwar Kamal was also killed while his son Hidayathullah was seriously injured. The official told The Express Tribune that victims from both parties involved filed FIRs against each other. One person, Rashid Khan, has so far been arrested. Police are conducting a search operation for others involved.
