The 12 parliamentarians in a letter written to the United States said that the Britain and Western countries are under threat because drone attacks provide justification for future terrorist activities.
The letter also stated that innocent people are killed in drone strikes.
The parliamentarians said that the attacks are creating hatred for the US amongst Pakistanis and they are also harming a British allied country's sovereignty.
According to the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism, one drone strike has hit Pakistan every four days on average under Obama.
The bureau further said that most of the 2,292 to 2,863 people reported to have been killed in the strikes were low-ranking militants, but that only 126 fighters had been named.
It added that there were credible reports of civilian casualties numbering between 385 and 775 civilians, including 164 to 168 children.

I want to know the names of the politicians that sent the letter to President Obama to stop drone attacks. I also want to know how much Pakistan paid for their services.
@Nasir Mahmood: PLEASE give us some supporting sources for your "thousands of innocent people have been killed" comment, and " indiscrimination" is not a real word!
As I recall the UK Parliament has over 1,400 members --- and they could only come up with 12 signatures --- that says something does it?
At last world has started to realize Pakistan's stance. Thousands of innocent people have been killed in indiscrimination drone attacks. Atrocities spread hate and no one than America knows more and she should start respect and love humanity.
No one but our govt. can stop these. Take down a drone and MAKE THEM STOP. I am surprised when Pakistan only gives its position n drones attacks and can not do anything to stop it. It is like saying "i maintain that robing my house is a bad idea" but I will let you rob just the same.
Do these parliamentarians especially Lord Ahmad have any issue with killings or Shias, Ahmadis, Christians, Hindus and Blauchis for instance?
