Straight To Work: US Consul General meets entrepreneurs

KARACHI:

The US Consul General in Karachi, Michael Dodman, held a meeting on Monday with a group of young Pakistani entrepreneurs to learn about the opportunities and challenges they face.

“The United States can help support Pakistan’s economic growth, but economic success will come from within Pakistan itself,” he said. “This is only the first of many dialogues that I look forward to continuing in the coming weeks and months.” The Consul General plans to continue meeting representatives of civil society in Karachi and senior government officials throughout the week. He stated that the United States wants to see a strong, prosperous and peaceful Pakistan.
