Tragedy: Dejected man commits suicide

Man was in the last stage of Hepatitis-C and needed a large amount of money for treatment, which he did not have.

RAWALPINDI: A man committed suicide by throwing himself in front of a moving train in Chaklala on Sunday. Police sources said Imran Masih, 29, was in the last stage of Hepatitis-C and needed a large amount of money for treatment, which he did not have. His family said Masih was very upset. On Sunday, he jumped in front of a Karachi-bound passenger train. His family has been informed of the incident, police said.

Wow, that's terrible - I thought religious institutions have a lot of money in Pakistan, why can't they open free clinics for the poor?
