Discussion: AIDS discussed at TEDx salon event

A talent hunt also took place for the entertainment of audience.

Pakistan’s first TEDx salon event, TEDxRawalLakeSalon, was held at SZABIST on Friday, said a press release. A large number of people participated in the event, which included a talk on “HIV - how to fight an epidemic of bad laws.” The speaker, Shereen El-Feki, a PhD from Cambridge University, explained that AIDS cannot spread by living around people who have the disease. A talent hunt also took place for the entertainment of audience and people from two different categories – poetry and management sciences  were called and asked to share their thoughts with the audience.
