Farewell: Funeral prayers for constable held

Around 38 police officers and jawans have been killed on duty in 2012 so far.

KARACHI: Constable Suhail Haroon’s funeral prayers were held at the police headquarters Garden South on Thursday. He had been shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in Pak Colony on Wednesday. Sindh AIG Falak Khurshid and Karachi AIG Iqbal Mahmood were also present at the funeral. AIG Mahmood said that around 38 police officers and jawans have been killed on duty in 2012 so far. He said that the police would continue their drive against criminals.
