QUETTA: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday issued fresh arrest warrants for those accused in Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti’s murder, including former president Pervez Musharraf along with other members of his regime.  The arrest warrants for the accused – which include former premier Shaukat Aziz, former interior minister Aftab Khan Sherpao, former Balochistan governor Awais Ahmed Ghani, former chief secretary Shoib Nausherwani and former Dera Bugti DCO Abdul Samad Lasi, besides Musharraf – were issued by ATC judge Nawaz Khan Barakzai in Sibi while hearing the Bugti murder case. During the hearing, the case investigators maintained that despite being forwarded the earlier warrants against Musharraf and Aziz, the Interior Ministry had shown no response. They told the court that Awais Ahmed Ghani and Aftab Sherpao had been bailed for a sum of Rs500,000 each. They also informed the court that Shoib Nausherwani and Abdul Samad Lasi were in hiding.
