Among those released are 18 fishermen and an elderly man. A child is also among the fishermen and has been in an Indian jail for six months.
The elderly man, 75-year-old Syed Taqi Shah, was arrested on accusations of using fake currency. Talking to the media at the Wagah border, Shah said that Pakistanis are not being treated well in Indian jails. He said that proper food is not given to the inmates and the sick are not given any medicines either.

Thousands of innocent Pakistanis are rotting in Indian jails, facing the worst imaginable conditions. When is India going to release them?
Thanks for not treating them well ?
Thank you, India, indeed! Thank you and I hope and pray Pakistan does the same . We did release some 300+ fishermen a few weeks ago. I hope and pray no terrorist event is able to disrupt the peace process. The terrorists strike whenever they see the two neighbors start enjoying good relations.
Keep clearing unnecessary loads and let the people of both country enjoy normal life, after all the governament are for the betterment of thire people. . Good move, good luck.
