KARACHI: The Jamaat-e Islami (JI) organised a public protest in Keamari on Sunday against the government’s decision to restore Nato supplies. Addressing the protesters, Munawar Hassan said that the people were out on the streets against forces which were bent on destabilising the country. “To make the restoration of supplies plausible, the Pakistani government should refrain from signing a so-called memorandum of understanding with the US,” he added. He vehemently refuted the impression that his party and the Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) had failed to yield any results. “Protests across the four provinces show that the people of Pakistan are not indifferent to US drone strikes unlike the government,” the JI leader pointed out. The decision to reopen the supply routes will lead to the current government’s downfall, Munawar warned.

Good work. keep it up. May allah help us to get rid of the current Government. This Government wants Dollars only. Pakistan and Pakistanies means nothing to this government.
