Karachi violence: 9 people killed, 1 target killer arrested
Unknown assailaints killed Jaman Shah and his wife in Khokarapar No 4 after forcibly entering their residence.
In Orangi Town No 12, Syed Jamal Faisal, a Sindh High Court (SHC) employee, and Jamil Baloch of Baldia town were killed in separate incidents of firing.
Two tortured bodies were recovered from ditches in the Aaso Goth area of Malir and al Asif Square in Sohrab Goth, whereas police recovered the body of a woman from the Sikandar Goth area of Sacchal.
A truck driver, Fatehullah was killed in the Korangi Industrial Area and a man identified as Shiraz Memon was killed on Jamshed Road, both in incidents of firing.
Five people were injured in firing in different parts of the city whereas the police managed to arrest a target killer identified as Sharjeel.

This violence is pre-planned and well engineered, and is doing nothing but setting the stage for the Republic of Mohajirstan.

Until10-15 years back Bombay generated 65% of tax revenue in India. This is not a reflection on an economy that is so centralized in one city. It simply means that most corporate offices are located in Karachi. So while they produce goods and sell throughout Pakistan, the corporate tax and excise tax revenue is accounted as coming from Karachi. Also with regards to customs, Bombay was the largest port in India and Karachi is the only functional port, so customs duty is collected in Karachi.

I have lived in Karachi half of my life and have traveled in the west fairly a lot. I can safely say the situation in Karachi is no different then other metropolitan cities when it comes to security. You have gang wars in USA, civil wars in Africa, recently wars in pretty much the most peaceful people I have ever seen i-e Srilanka. If I see a Pathan or a Mohajir or a Shia or a Hindu I will not instantly want to kill them and am pretty sure most people most people think the same. It is the acts of few people that the whole city is being maligned.
It is simply the result of politics of Reconciliation. No one is courageous enough to highlight the mischievousness of the coalition partners for their vested interests. The common man will ultimately be the losers.
But from year 2000 to 2008 there were no such killings in karachi .. during black era of PPP more then 4000 people were killed in target killings.
I am trying to understand this.
How does this affect the city?
Are the shops closed? offices and schools are also closed? For how many days/hours? Is there a nakabandi of the area?
Well, it is time to divulge the information to the public who this killer is and who sent him there, otherwise we will know who are involved in these massacres and most likely residing in Islamabad.

How can you kill innocent people for politics. Is this what you call democracy? government collision parties killing each other workers. I think the people of pakistan should ban these parties as they did with jihadi parties.
Shame on government alliance. Karachi people have seen the result of reconciliation politics. PPP, MQM and ANP have turned into Mafias.
