PESHAWAR:

Azizullah, the only player from Peshawar to be selected in the Pakistan side for the U19 World Cup in Australia, is looking forward to the event and vowed to make his country and, in particular, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa proud.

“It is a great honour for me and the whole province,” Azizullah to The Express Tribune. “I will try my best and will not waste the struggle of my coach and my elders who supported me at every stage.”

Azizullah, who took 47 wickets for ZTBL this year, added that senior players like Wajahatullah Wasti and Arshad Khan had given him tips ahead of the event.
