Turbulent weather: PIA flight delayed and diverted

KARACHI: According to a press release issued by PIA, the flights of the airline were either delayed or diverted owing to the bad weather conditions in Islamabad.

The closure for cleaning of the Karachi, Jinnah Terminal and the Islamabad, Benazir Bhutto International Airport, runways between 1:00pm to 3:00pm also affected the flight schedule. Three flights from Islamabad to Lahore were also diverted on Wednesday morning due to the weather.

The delayed departure of PIA flights from Karachi included PK-301, PK-304, PK-340, PK-352 and PK-388 and the flights that were diverted were PK-738, PK-747 and PK-792.
