PESHAWAR:

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) rally on July 14 will focus on the energy crises, reopening of NATO supply routes and corruption in government departments, said the party’s representative Wali Khan on Tuesday.

He added that the demonstrations will start from the Peshawar motorway and after receiving party Chairman, Imran Khan, protestors will walk towards the Grand Trunk Road.

Provincial leaders, including former provincial president Asad Qaiser, Provincial information secretary Shah Farman and Iftikhar Jhagra will speak at the occasion, the representative said.

Recently, all major political parties have increased their activities in the province particularly in Peshawar. The Jamiat Ullama Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) has planned to organise a rally on July 13 on the same route, while Jamat-i-Islami has announced their rally for July 16.
