ATTOCK: Four armed men broke into the house of a private bank cashier, looted valuables at gunpoint and escaped the scene on Monday. Umar Saleem, son of Saleem Akhtar the bank cashier told the police that four armed men entered their house in Samunderabad Mohalla when he and his father were away. The dacoits held the women hostage and looted Rs0.3 million, 50 tolas gold, a pistol, two cell phones and two weapon licenses. When the neighbours came to know about the incident, they chased the men and started firing. However, they escaped the scene. Police have registered an initial report and are investigating the case.
