FAISALABAD: A man in police custody attempted suicide on Saturday. Police said that Makkoana SI Bashir Ahmad had arrested Qasim Shah suspected of robbery. Police had allegedly threatened him with torture. Shah then hit himself with a brick in the police station. He was taken to hospital where doctors are providing him medical treatment. Khurarianwala Police registered a case against the suspect.
