Foreign visit: Delegation briefed on NUST

A 10-member delegation from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan visited the main campus of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) on Friday, according to a press release. Members included Deputy Governor Tajikistan and Deputy Minister for Education Kyrgyzstan along with officials from Asian Development Bank. The delegates were briefed on NUST’s academic programmes and research capabilities, industrial and international linkages, achievements of faculty and students and future plans of the university. The delegation visited some of the teaching and research facilities including School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, NUST Institute of Civil Engineering, Attaur Rahman School of Applied Biosciences and Research Centre for Modulation and Simulation. Members of the delegation showed keen interest in the research projects being undertaken by the NUST faculty.
