Nato route restoration: Lawyers observe strike

LBA met at Aiwan-i-Adl and called government “an agent of America” and restoration of NATO supply routes “terrorism”.

LAHORE: The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) on Friday condemned the restoration of NATO supplies ground route, demanding that the government should make public America’s apology for the attack on Salala check post. The lawyers also observed a strike after 10am. The LBA met at Aiwan-i-Adl and called the government “an agent of America” and the restoration of NATO supply routes “terrorism”. The LBA president, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali, said the “corrupt rulers should not help those who are against Islam and Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal”. He demanded that the government hold a referendum over the restoration of NATO supplies through Pakistan. The association members also criticised the “conspiracies being hatched to derail the judiciary”.

this is disrespect to the decision of Parliament. Lawyers work on the solid ground with reality but it is sentiments only.

So they are condemning the decision of Parliament.. Every body has the right to express their views. Lawyers work on solid grounds with reality but here only the sentiments. .
