Nawab Akbar Bugti case: Jam Yousuf granted interim bail

Yousuf had previously been granted protective bail by the Sindh High Court.

QUETTA: Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf, a former chief minister of Balochistan and a sitting federal minister, has been granted interim bail until July 16 by a bench of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Thursday.

His counsel had moved the application seeking bail for Jam Yousuf, who is facing murder charges for killing Nawab Akbar Bugti, also a former governor and chief minister of Balochistan.

Yousuf had previously been granted protective bail by the Sindh High Court. Jamil Bugti, son of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, filed an FIR against former president Pervez Musharraf, Jam Yousuf and Owais Ahmed Ghani among approximately 30 other individuals for their alleged involvement in the murder of Nawab Bugti.
