PU Appointment: Next hearing on July 12
The Lahore High Court Chief Justice on Thursday adjourned till July 12 hearing of a petition challenging the reappointment of Dr Mujahid Kamran as vice chancellor of the Punjab University.
Justice Umar Ata Bandial deferred the hearing because of Kamran’s counsel’s absence.
Petitioner Fayyaz Ahmad Mehr has said that Mujahid’s reappointment on January 1 violated the Punjab University Act and Supreme Court orders.
