SIALKOT: As many as 42 police officials of Sialkot have been removed from their duties due to their failure to reduce their waist size to 38 inches.

They have been asked by their bosses to reduce their big bellies by doing special exercises being held at Sialkot Police Line under the supervision of senior police officials.

The measurement of the waists of all the 2,200 senior and junior policemen has been conducted, out of which as many as 42 police officials including inspectors, sub inspectors and assistant sub inspectors were found overweight.

They have also been given a special task to reduce their waists to 38 inches by July 7. Police officials said that big bellies cause lethargy, and added that  police officials should be vigilant and reducing belly would help their cause.
