Pakistan King Sejong Institute will be established at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) to teach Korean at its main campus.
A Memorandum of Understanding in this regard was signed by NUML Rector Maj. Gen. (retd) Masood Hassan and President Human Resource Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) Young-Jung Song on Monday.
The institute will be particularly useful for Pakistani workers hoping to get jobs in Korea and it introduces a new world of knowledge and opportunities for Pakistani students, said an official.
Speaking on the occasion, the NUML rector said, “It is our proud privilege that NUML is the only university in the country where a professional language institute is being launched to supplement the Korean language department.”
HRD Korea will provide all the educational material and faculty for the institute.
