Internet complaint

KARACHI: On May 5, 2010, I bought a PTCL ‘EVO’ internet USB device. I paid Rs4,000 for it and it allowed me unlimited downloads for Rs2,000 per month (which is then billed to my landline number). Unfortunately after only one month it suddenly stopped working. I have tried numerous times to submit my complaint on the number 1218 but after taking down my information, I was told to hold to talk to a senior personnel but no one ever comes on the line. What am I to do now? Surely, the service provider needs to either return my money or replace the USB – but I don’t see that happening given that no one even picks up the phone at the complaint helpline.
