Expansion project: CM inaugurates Allama Iqbal Road

LAHORE: Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the Allama Iqbal Road on Saturday night. The project has been completed at a cost of Rs700 million. Addressing the inauguration, he said, “Best travelling facilities will be available to the people of the area with the completion of this project.” The chief minister said that timely and transparent completion of development projects was a priority of the Punjab government. He said that infrastructure projects were being completed expeditiously in a transparent manner throughout the province. He also said that after completion of the Allama Iqbal Road expansion project, the road will become one of the best in the city. He said although there had been some delay in the project, he was happy it had been completed. MNA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also addressed the inauguration.
