MANSEHRA: Three houses were gutted in Seeta Munda Gucha village after being engulfed in a wildfire on Thursday, according to police and locals. The Shinkiari police said that a wildfire that erupted in the nearby forest spread quickly due to the wind and engulfed the houses of Miskeen Shah, Luqman Shah and Sultan Shah. Locals tried to put out the fire but failed. The owners have estimated the loss to be over Rs1 million. Quoting locals, the police said that the fire was allegedly caused by an unidentified arsonist who lit a patch of dry grass in the nearby forest.
