Familial dispute: Woman commits suicide

She suddenly became unwell and died after having a dispute with her husband.

MANSEHRA:

A married woman committed suicide by consuming poison here on Thursday, said police and family sources.

Police quoted Naseem Bibi as saying that her elder sister Ghazal Shaheen suddenly became unwell and died after having a dispute with her husband.

She said that Ghazal was married to Malik Babar of Bela Tariyan village but the couple had no children. She added that Babar would often subject Ghazal to violence. She accused the in-laws and the husband of the victim of poisoning her to death.
