KARACHI: Federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam leader, Jam Yousuf, and former Sindh population minister, Syed Allah Bux, called on Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi (Pir Pagara) at his residence on Wednesday.  Jam Yousuf reportedly offered his condolences on the death of Shah Mardan Shah (Pir Pagara VII). Meanwhile, Bux, who belongs to Badin district, once again expressed his willingness to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, but Pir Pagara asked him to wait until the next meeting of his party. Bux is said to be rival of the Pakistan Peoples Party and during General Pervez Musharraf’s tenure had given PPP leaders a tough time, including Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, by lodging cases against them. According to sources, after the PPP came to power and the PML-F became coalition partners, Shah Mardan Shah, on the request of Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, had promised that he would not accept Bux in his party.
