FAISALABAD: Holding Punjab government responsible for the current power crisis in the province, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government is the biggest defaulter.

Speaking during a protest rally in Faisalabad on Wednesday, Imran said that the Punjab government has not paid bills worth billions of rupees.

He further questioned PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif for the amount of money his textile mill owes to power companies.

Criticising the provincial government’s performance during the last four years, Imran said the Nawaz should realise that he will not get another chance again.

Bashing the ruling leaders, the PTI chief said that his party will 'bowl out' both President Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz off a single delivery. “We will wipe them out of the Pakistani politics forever,” he said.

Highlighting the monumental rise in inflation, particularly in electricity prices, Imran said he will lead a protest to Islamabad.
